Nails: L'Oreal Nail Color "The Mystic's Fortune"

A giant box of epic make up stuff arrived over the weekend. Sparklecrack Central sent over a few bits and pieces I'd been asking for, along with a couple of extra goodies. One of the things I was most looking forward to trying were the limited edition nail polishes that L'Oreal put out a few months back.

While this exact colour doesn't seem to be online at the moment, the range of polishes is $5.99 from L'Oreal stockists. They're different to the polishes we have in the UK, but I think our range of colours is pretty awesome as well!


The Mystic's Fortune is a rich, inky blue with purple tones. It has a lovely deep shimmer and appears to glow from within. This is two coats, the polish is nicely pigmented and easy to apply with its flat brush. It does dry to a fairly flat finish so some top coat is needed to bring out the life in this shade.

  3. This was part of the limited-edition Project Runway collection, and it's very very much out of stock. (I can't even find a severely overpriced bottle on Ebay!!)
