NOTD: 07/11/11 Boots 17 Magnetized "Grey"
This is my first attempt at the magnetic nail polish finish. I think I like it better than the crackle finish to be honest! The magnet for the Boots 17 polish is included in the very reasonable price of £5.99. They're on 3for2 right now so they're definitely worth having a look at!

A very reasonable price for a lovely polish. I had a go with a nails inc one (which I have to say, looks verrrry similar, bottle and magnet and all) but I was too impatient and kept ruining it! Doh! It does look lovely in silver, kind of like the cat on the Whiskers adverts. xx
ReplyDeleteI have the lilac ones. I've tried it a couple of times, but haven't got the result I want with it yet. I mean, it looks okay, but not as effective as I want. Yours look great :)

ReplyDeleteI've done my fingers and toes with the magnet look now, I went with new brand FashionistA and the grey does look very similar to yours, and the Nails inc one my friend has. I'm just wondering what the difference between the three are apart from the price. I purchased mine on offer for £5 each. I'd be interested to know what you thought of the consistency of the polish/magnet time needed/drying time?
ReplyDeleteI have two Nails Inc. magnetic polishes, but I haven't used them yet. (I have so many polishes I want to use...but can't right now! It's annoying.)
