Sleek MakeUp eye shadow palettes are available from selected Superdrug stores or the Sleek MakeUp website for £5.99. The price has recently gone up but they're still an absolute bargain. For that £5.99 you get 12 absolutely intensely pigmented eye shadows.

I bought this a couple of years back, before Sleek MakeUp exploded all over blogland. At the time, there were only a couple of palettes available. I bought this one from Manchester (for the Nightwish concert, I believe). I hadn't known about Sleek MakeUp before and I was shocked at how pigmented and cheap this palette was from the testers. I spent ages trying to hunt down more Sleek MakeUp products before going nuts over at Meadowhall, and finally they appeared at my local Superdrug.
The shadows in this palette are metallic, creamy and pigmented. The black is more matte and harder in texture to the other 11 though. They're also very soft and crumbly. They flake apart with just the pressure from my eye shadow brush. They also don't travel very well as the shadows break apart. By travelling, I mean walking from my make up drawers over to my desk where I sit and apply my make up. The formula has greatly improved in the more recent palettes so I'm hoping that the Original will be much less fragile when I replace it. I will be replacing it soon as the shadows are breaking up and I cannot stand broken, messy make up.
All the Sleek MakeUp palettes come with a decent sized mirror that doesn't distort. If they weren't so soft, they'd make good palettes to take on holiday. I'd worry about damaging even the newer ones to be honest.
The very creamy texture is probably due to the Dimethicone and Paraffinum Liquid (a fancy name for mineral oil). So you might get a little creasing without a primer. They feel very, very smooth and spread over the eye area without any problems (again, probably due to the Dimethicone - it is used in smoothing face primers!). They stick fast with a primer - Urban Decay Primer Potion works just fine with these. Nothing notable in the way of creasing or fading either with the primer.
I've swatched each shade in the palettes, in order. They're brushed over primer and are very pigmented!

I just love that purple. It has been an ongoing quest of mine to find a perfect "Cadbury's" purple eye shadow. This isn't far off, just a little too light.

I don't think I can definitely say which shadow is my favourite! Maybe the purple. Just watch out though, the blues will stain without a decent primer.
There's a decent mix of colours in here so you can get plenty of different looks. You can easily make a smokey eye, do brights or go a little softer.
This palette is still very popular. Half the time I go into Superdrug it's sold out and I've lost track on how many I've sent over to the US!
Overall, it's a winner! Well worth picking one up.
