NOTD: Eyeko Rain Polish for City Nails

Here's something else I had planned on doing yesterday before I gave up trying to accomplish anything. I applied 2 coats over a ridge filler, along with a quick dry topcoat.

Anyway, check out Lipglossiping, she's got much nicer hands and nails than I have.

This is a very interesting shade. It's blue with a definite grey tint, along with some very fine silvery shimmer. It's very pretty and definitely not a pastel or baby blue. Application was a bit of a pain: it seemed to dry pretty instantly on my nails, making the polish very thick and streaky as I tried to finish each nail. A thicker second coat made it look better but my right hand is a bit lumpy! Usually there isn't too much difference in the finishes between my two hands.

This polish is available from Eyeko for a limited time. It only seems to be sold in a set of three for £8.50. I think it needs to be sold individually, I can see this being a very popular shade this summer.

This polish was provided free for review/playing purposes.

  1. Very pretty in an understated, soft way! I'm oddly attracted to the way the bottle is shaped!
