While I was on Blogtv last night, I got asked to post a tattoo update! So, here it is 2 weeks into healing. All the scabbing has fallen off (wasn't it fun to find bits of skin everywhere!) but it's still a little sore and raised. I can sleep on that side now, which I couldn't last week but I'm still not wearing a bra strap over that shoulder. Multi-way cross over back bras have been a life saver! Along with Germolene.
Remember girls, if you want a tattoo on your shoulder, buy a multi-way bra! I didn't even consider bra straps when I chose to put it there.
I'll probably give you another update in a couple of weeks when it should have pretty much healed.
You're lucky that that white ink has taken well to your skin! It doesn't take half as nicely to most peoples :)
ReplyDeletehi Becky. Tattoo is looking good :) x
ReplyDeleteI didn't even think of this at the time...but remember about two years ago, when it was Great Big News about stars in the Eridani region going black? I never tracked down any explanation, if one ever surfaced.
ReplyDeleteThose wacky Tibetan monks. They really did it.
@Beauty's Bad Habit - thanks! I'm really pleased with how it's looking :)
ReplyDelete@Jo - Thanks!
@LiAnn - Hmm, isn't that where Vulcan is in the Star Trek universe? It was a crazy Romulan :)
Your tattoo is looking great! How did you find the itching? I got mine done late last year and thought I was so good leaving it alone, until I woke up in the middle of the night to find that i had been scratching it in my sleep? After that I kept my nails super short for the next few weeks so I wouldn't sleep-itch :-)
