Not the best polish job, I did do this at 5:30am. I just felt the urge for mint green today. It really is a quick dry polish, this is two coats and it was dry to the touch in about 10 minutes and pretty much completely dry in about half an hour.
The brush is a horrid little thing. Very stiff bristles which made it next to impossible to get a nice shape around my cuticles (which I know are not the best looking in the world) and I end up with lines down my nails from where there brush has dragged the polish. But, this was £1.50 and the colour is great. I'm also really impressed with how it's lasted. I tend to destroy polish after a day at work but this has actually lasted to a point where I could wear it tomorrow as well. I just have a little wear on my tips and no huge chips.
So pretty! I need to go to Asda and pick up some of these :)
ReplyDeleteOoh it's such a pretty colour! I need to find an Asda near me.
ReplyDeleteI got this polish because I loved the colour, however I was roped into helping my Mum make her bed while I was visiting and it flaked off 1 finger totally and 2 others to a lesser extent.
ReplyDeleteDid you use a topcoat as well? I'd like to use it again but don't want it flaking off after less than a day! Or is the moral of the story is not to change bed linen with your Mum when you've just given yourself a manicure! lol ;o)
@Leanne OCD - I didn't use a top coat so I was very suprised at how long it lasted.
ReplyDeleteI found that it was quite 'thick' which mean it went all streaky. For 1.50 though, and such a lovely colour I wasn't complaining. I liked the fact that it only needed one coat, I also have ultra-violet from asda, and that needed going over with to build up the colour! ps, followed you from youtube, love all your videos!
