Adding the stat counter to the bottom of my page has proved to be extremely useful. I can see which posts are popular and which topics I'm getting Google hits for. Sometimes I make sure to add an extra post or two on subjects I'm getting Google hits for but have only added a small amount of information to my blog.
So, I'm going to hold a little contest. I haven't decided on prizes yet, it's not going to be anything major. Probably a few Barry M dazzle dusts and I've got some unused stuff from event goodie bags that just won't get used.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a little green box with my visitor count displayed. It's right above my Creative Commons license and it currently sat at just over 96000 hits.
I want you to check this every time you visit my page as I'm looking for the person who hits 123456! If you see that, or very close (but over) to that then send me an email with a screen grab as an attachment to:
sirvinyavid@hotmail.co.uk
If this little competition works out OK, I may select random numbers to hit in the future.
If no one sends me a grab of 123456 then the closest that is over that number will win the prize.
I'm willing to ship worldwide, apart from countries refused by the Royal Mail.
