Milani Halloween 2009

I'm always so jealous of the make up that gets released in the US at this time of year, and there are always plenty of lovely looking nail polishes that I'll never get my hands on. The offerings in the UK at this time of year are quite pathetic when compared! None of the make up stands have Halloween collections, and the only make up to be found is greasepaint in the children's fancy dress aisle along with the odd black nail polish.

So, as you can imagine, I was thrilled to bits when I managed to swap on Makeupalley for some of the Milani Halloween collection. She got a European exclusive OPI and I got these. I have the feeling we both think we did quite well!

I believe these are around $4.49 each and are sold at US drugstores (CVS, Target, and the like) for a limited time. Each bottle contains 13.2ml (0.45 fl oz) of polish.


The whole collection (there are actually 6 in total) consists of a black cream base filled with tiny glitter. Not quite micro glitter, but certainly finer than the usual glitter you find in glittery polishes.

-Enchantment - Blue/violet glitter. Definitely not blue or purple.
-Magical - Orange glitter. Perfect for Autumn anyway!
-Charmed - Silver glitter. Seems to have the most glitter out of the 4.
-Whimsical - Purple glitter. Actually more fuchsia than my camera shows.

I can't wait to play with these. By all accounts (and the pictures I've seen on blogs) these look amazing when they're on.
