Honestly, this isn't bad for me. I just need to make sure I behave for the rest of the month. I'm not treating it as an excuse to buy the black Konad polish from ebay!
-Urban Decay 24/7 Super Stash - Contains 9 minis of the 24/7 eye pencils. This set has 4 exclusive liners.
-Urban Decay Preen Shadow Box - 6 shadows, a mini bottle of Primer Potion, and a mini 24/7 liner in "Zero". I think 4 of the 6 shadows are exclusive, but it could just be 3. The Art Deco style Peacock packaging is just gorgeous.
-The Body Shop Shimmer Gloss "Iced Candy" - Beautiful pink with golden sparkle. Saw it on the limited edition stand. The rest of the collection didn't excite me, but this was very pretty.
-The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream - Yes, I am beginning to get little wrinkles :(
-The Body Shop Muslin Cloths - Comes in a pack of 3. An essential part of my skincare.
Here's the Preen Palette opened up for you:

I adore Urban Decay's palettes. I have a few of them and I love the exclusive shades they include in a lot of them. This means that I tend to have very few repeats (let's not talk about "Midnight Cowboy", OK?). I used to buy a lot of single shadows from Urban Decay but a lot of the ones I have are discontinued so even those don't appear in the palette.
I got sent some Nutriganics skincare to try out, which I think I'll be posting next. I bought the eye cream to round out the skincare. It's horrible to have to admit, but I'm 27 now and I'm beginning to get fine lines. Bleh. This line is designed for skin that's showing the first signs of aging so I'll let you know how I get on.
Nice blog post Becky :) I like urban decay palettes aswell I can see why people seem 2 collect them. I only have one atm but i would like some more. Need to find somewhere that sells Urban decay tho...unless i just order online lol. I have so many things i want 2 order online. I need to do a big internet Haul when i allow myself a big spendup lol
ReplyDeleteGreatpost - I'm on a spending ban so having to live vicariously through everyone else!! I'm torn between spending my Boots points on the UD Book of Shadows of the Super Stash, think I need to see some swatches before I make a decision!!

@Jo - I really do not need to be collecting the palettes! But I just can't help myself :)
ReplyDelete@BrionyLou - Go for the Book of Shadow 2. You get 2 of the liners in there. I should be swatching it some time this week.
Fab, I'll keep my eyes peeled for the swatches :)

Totally agree about theUD palettes - always great value. I regret not picking up the baked palette actually - I bought one for a friend and now wish I'd got one for me too! xxx
ReplyDeleteHi, great post! could you do some swatches of the UD liners? x
ReplyDelete@Mizzworthy - I really liked the Baked palette as well, but I already had 2 of the 4 shadows at the time. Now I've got all 4!
ReplyDelete@Rupa - I will be!
Becky, I just bought the Preen palette and I love the colours and am doing a different look every day and might actually get round to adding some of the looks to my random boring blog only seen by my friends or family who never post! Ha Ha! Anyway, I wondered, what looks have you created soley with the palette and perhaps a separate highlighter? I love the diverse colours in the palette, subtle and bold and wondered whether we could make the most looks from one palette of 6 colours as a makeup loving community...maybe a TAG on Youtube so others could add? Might be fun.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, sorry I do tend to drag on....I hope to see you on Friday night as I never seem to be home on Friday for the Blog TV but hope to be tomorrow. Please be sure to update on twitter and let us know on your blog the time and how to see it.
Hope we can make the Preen palette create ALOT of looks!
Keep up the excellent work!
Lovely blog... I've just got into Urban Decay myself, although being a uni student, I rarely have the money to indulge in it too often; but when I do it's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI really love your blogs and youtube reviews. It really gives me a bit more confidence to take the plunge and part with my cash. Just hearing an opinion from someone who clearly understands make up is so benificial... wish I had looked into it sooner!!
