Before getting to the Pro Store, I stopped off at B Never Too Busy To B Beautiful (what a mouthfull!!), one of my friends gave me a shopping list before I went down to London. The store itself os gorgeous. Lots of pots of shimmer and sparkle, everythings displayed by colour. However, I doubt I'll be buying anything else. The pots of eye shadow are very tiny (1g in weight) which I already knew about though. I bought one of the big magnetic palettes, a few eye shadows and a cream blusher. The woman who served me was lovely and ran round getting all the pans I wanted. However, they all came out of pots and have no labels on the bottom. So I don't know what I got in the end.

They're pretty though. Very crumbly, I think I'm going to get through one of the pans in about 5 minutes.
I visited Covent Gardens on the Friday morning, forgetting nothing in London opens until at lease 10:30am! I only had 2 hours then for Covent Gardens and Oxford Street before my train. Charles Fox is a favourite of mine (Screenface was opening too late for me to trek back over to it), and the main UK stockist of Kryolan.

I walked over to the MAC in Covent Gardens, the straight back out again without buying anything. For some reason they were very pushy that day, I don't like to be sold to while I'm browsing. The Shu Uemura boutique had moved since the last time I was down to a slightly bigger store (finally!) so I was able to look without having to climb over other customers.

-Eye Shadow "ME Yellow 300"
-Eye Shadow "IR Beige 800"
-Blusher "P Pink 36D"
-2 Cleansing Oil samples
Then I had a quick, final trip to Oxford Street to grab some lunch before going back to King's Cross.

-Bobbi Brown Gel Liner "Black Plum Ink"
-Urban Decay Pocket Rocket "Doug"
-Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil "Flipside"
-Barry M Liquid Liner "LE 6"

@sinnamonspyder no you don't need a pro card to buy over the phone. Anyone can do this.
ReplyDeleteI love Covent Garden :) so handy living 20 mins away, but I get so annoyed with the random people trying to sell me makeup I've never heard of on the street!x
ReplyDeleteOh that pigment, so wonderfully green! I am also drooling over that Urban Decay gloss!
ReplyDeleteI have had my eye on MAC's Gentle for some time now. Do you think you could do a review of MAC blushes in general, I do not own any.
